Labour Requirements & Ethical Hiring

We do not use child labour.

  • We do not employ workers under the age of 15 years.
  • No person under the age of 18 is employed in hazardous or heavy work; unless it is training under approved national laws and regulations.
  • We prohibit the worst forms of child labour.

We exclude all forms of forced and compulsory labour.

  • We ensure that employment is based on mutual consent without threat of penalty.
  • Practices indicative of compulsory labour including:
  • Physical and sexual violence Bonded labour
  • Bonded labour
  • Withholding of wages, payment of employment fees or payment of deposit to commence employment.
  • Restriction of mobility or movement
  • Retention of passport or identity documents

We ensure that employment and occupation practices are non-discriminatory.

We respect freedom of association and the effective right to collective bargaining.

  • Our workers are able to establish or join worker organizations of their own choosing.
  • Company Ltd respects the full freedom of workers’ organizations to draw up their constitutions and rules. 
  • Company Ltd respects the rights of workers to engage in lawful activities related to forming, joining or assisting a workers’ organization, or to refrain from doing the same, and will not discriminate or punish workers for exercising these rights. 
  • Collective bargaining agreements are implemented if they exist.
